Mentoring: Marianna Lead, Ph.D. specializes in mentoring new coaches who are making the transition from related fields (psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, psychology, social work, education, etc.) or want to add coaching modality to their existing practice.

Events: Dr. Lead produced a variety of workshops that showcased the leading coaches from around the world, including Madeleine Homan, MCC, a pioneer in the coaching profession and the VP of Blended Solutions for the Ken Blanchard Companies, Karlin Sloan, a member of The Executive Coaching Summit - an invitation-only group of leadership development experts who convene annually to brainstorm and advise the International Coaching Federation, Ira Dressner, PCC, Ph.D., the founder and first President of the ICF-NYC Chapter, and many others.

Instruction: Dr. Lead teaches a number of Goal ImageryŽ techniques that teaches people  how to use the subconscious power of their emotions and imagination to achieve their goals.

Examples of Goal ImageryŽ topics include:
  • Use of imagery and metaphors in coaching
  • Changing perspective through a subconscious approach
  • Changing negative talk to positive talk through the power of the subconscious
  • Minimizing client's resistance to change and action
Event Organization: Dr. Lead co-organized and co-hosted with Yakov Smirnoff, an actor and stand-up comic, a professional workshop for coaches called "Laughter As a Life Skill" on Broadway in NYC; Dr. Lead organized and hosted first ICF-NYC Coaching Symposium at Club Getaway in Kent, CT. She also co-organized the first ICF-NYC & New York University joint panel of Master Certified Coaches and spearheaded other events/presentations.
